Aileen’s Beauty

Serving Los Gatos

A second opinion on your brows

Most people who come to us from Los Gatos are not starting over — they are asking whether the work they already paid for can be undone. That is a fair question, and it deserves a straight answer before anyone touches your face.

Why so many corrections start somewhere else

Permanent makeup is a young industry with uneven training, and a brow that looked correct on the day it healed can read completely differently two years later. Pigment shifts. Shapes that followed a trend stop following your face. And the standard industry answer — another layer, a little darker, slightly wider — buys a few months and makes the underlying problem harder to reverse.

None of that is a reflection on you. It is the predictable result of a service sold as permanent being applied to skin that keeps changing.

What an honest assessment actually covers

Before any removal is scheduled, we read the brow: the colour family left in the skin, the depth the pigment was implanted at, how many separate procedures are stacked in there, and how your skin has responded to being worked on before. Those four things determine everything that follows.

You will leave that conversation knowing three numbers — a realistic session range, a cost range, and a timeline — and one honest sentence about what this method cannot do for your particular case. We would rather lose the booking than sell you an outcome no one can guarantee.

The trip from Los Gatos

The studio is about ten minutes from downtown Los Gatos, straight up Los Gatos Boulevard or Highway 17 to the Hamilton Avenue exit, with parking on site. Sessions are spaced four to six weeks apart to let the skin recover fully between appointments, so this is a short drive on an unhurried schedule rather than a weekly commitment.

If you are still deciding, text a clear, well-lit photo of your brows. Aileen reviews it herself — usually the same day — and you get a real answer before you commit to anything.

Common questions

Where do Los Gatos clients go for eyebrow tattoo removal?
Aileen's Beauty is at 816 West Hamilton Avenue in Campbell, roughly ten minutes from downtown Los Gatos via Highway 17 or Los Gatos Boulevard. It is an appointment-only studio that sees one guest at a time, so consultations are booked in advance rather than walked in.
Can permanent makeup done at another studio be removed?
Yes, in most cases — the studio that applied the pigment does not limit who can remove it. What matters is the pigment itself: its colour family, how deeply it was implanted, how many layers were stacked on top of each other, and how your skin has healed since. Work from another artist is assessed exactly the same way as any other case.
Should I get a second opinion before booking removal?
Getting a second opinion is reasonable and we encourage it. A good assessment should tell you what is actually in your skin, roughly how many sessions it would take, what it will cost, and what the honest limits are. If someone quotes you a session count from a photograph alone, or promises a specific final result, treat that as a warning rather than a reassurance.
What if I was told my brows could not be fixed?
That conclusion is sometimes right and often premature. Brows that were called unfixable are frequently cases where the previous artist only knew how to add more pigment, and adding pigment was never going to solve the problem. Removal changes the question from what can be covered to what can be lifted, and those are different answers.
How much does eyebrow tattoo removal cost near Los Gatos?
Sessions typically run $280–$380 each, with a $100 deposit that is credited toward your first appointment. The total depends on how saturated the pigment is and how many sessions your brows actually need, which is why we assess in person rather than quoting a package up front.
