Look at the hair, not just the colour. The easiest way to judge removal work is to ignore the pigment for a moment and study the brow hairs in the after image. Are they still there, growing in the same pattern? That is the whole argument for working without laser, and it is the first thing we would want you to check — in our archive or anyone else’s.

Check the skin texture. Healthy removal leaves skin that looks like skin. Shine, ridging or a patch that reads visibly different from the surrounding area is what everyone in this field is trying to avoid, and it is worth looking for in any gallery you are shown.

Note the session count, and be suspicious when it is missing. Where we know it, we state it. A gallery of dramatic afters with no indication of how many appointments they took is telling you only half the story — and the half it leaves out is the half that costs you money and months.

Expect the lighting to be honest, not flattering. These are photographed in the studio under consistent light, unretouched and unfiltered. That is why some afters look less dramatic than the heavily edited images common on social media. We would rather show you a real result than a well-lit one.
